In the complaint, the massage therapist says he was hired by a "man on behalf of Mr. Spacey". When the therapist arrived at Spacey's Malibu residence, Spacey directed him to a room upstairs where he set up the table. After changing, Spacey returned to the room and told the massage therapist that he was suffering from "pain or discomfort in the groin area". According to the complaint, Spacey was then lying down, despite the instructions the therapist massaged Spacey's leg, the actor "grabbed" his hand and forced him to massage his scrotum and his testicles.
The therapist says that he backed up and said, "What are you doing? I am a professional That's what I do in life. I have a son. He says that Spacey continued to chase him, grabbed his genitals over his clothes and said, "Let me give you a blowjob! The therapist told Spacey, "It's over. Let me go. Once Spacey finally let the therapist go, the man said that he had taken his massage table and had run away from the residence. (Spacey's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)
The lawsuit is the latest legal puzzle for Spacey since the actor was the first to be accused by a series of men of sexual harassment, assault and unwanted advances. (Spacey has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.) At the end of last October, the actor Anthony Rapp Spacey accused of sexual misconduct in a long report Buzzfeed. Rapp said that in 1986, at the age of 14, Spacey, then 26, had invited Rapp home for a party, where he had placed her on her bed and had "Makes a sexual advance". Spacey published excuses on Twitter last October following Rapp's allegations, adding that he did not remember the meeting.
The allegation, which came at the height of the negative reaction of the disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, led to a wave of similar claims, ending Spacey's career. In November 2017, Spacey was digitally removed from the upcoming movie. All the money in the worldand was replaced by the actor Christopher Plummer, who received an Oscar nomination for the role. For many men who claim to be victims of Spacey, the trauma persists. "My stomach is moving," Rapp told Buzzfeed at the time. "I still can not understand how many aspects of the question. It's just confusing for me.
