Kim Kardashian West, Alyssa Milano and other stars were among the thousands of people forced to evacuate their homes because of the Woolsey fire that ravages Los Angeles County.

The fire began Thursday night and Friday, it had pushed towards Malibu and the Pacific Ocean, causing evacuations in Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills and the surrounding area.

Kardashian, 38, posted photos and a video of the fire on his Instagram story from his private plane, reported People. She revealed that she had an hour to pack and evacuate from her home in the Calabasas area.

"I have just returned home and we had 1 hour to pack and evacuate our house. I pray everyone is safe, "she wrote.

On Friday, the star of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" revealed that fire had happened to her, as well as the property of her husband Kanye West, but the flames are "contained".

Fire officials were unable to estimate the number of buildings lost from the so-called Woolsey Fire in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, but said they would be important.
