West has announced plans to return to the Windy City earlier this week, but a source told PEOPLE that his wife Kim Kardashian West has no plans to leave with him.

"Kim plans to spend more time in Chicago, but she does not move full-time," the source said.

Kardashian West wants to continue raising his three children, North, 5, Saint, 2 and a half years, and Chicago, 9 months in Calabasas, California.

"She thinks it's best for kids to keep their schedule in Los Angeles. The North is in school and everything is working fine, "adds the source.
