Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had the luxury of engaging a private firefighting force to fight the flames around their mansion located near Los Angeles, TMZ said.
Thursday night, the Woolsey fire forced Kardashian to pack and evacuate the Hidden Hills home in less than an hour.
Friday afternoon, the star of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" said on Twitter that the flames had reached their property, but said that they "are more contained and have stopped for the moment." She added, "That does not seem to be the case. empire now, I just pray the winds are in our favor. "
I've heard that the flames were shot down on our home property at Hidden Hills, but they are now more contained and have stopped for the moment. It does not seem to be getting worse right now, I'm just praying that the winds are good for us. God is good. I just pray that everyone is safe

As she and her rapper husband have the means, they were able to quickly hire a private firefighting team whose quick work saved their home, reported TMZ.
But private firefighters are also known to save other houses in the area, TMZ added. That's because Kardashian and West's house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and borders a field – meaning that if their house burned, it would trigger a "domino effect" that would endanger neighboring houses, said TMZ.
The private fire brigade dug a number of ditches to create a firewall around the house. The neighbors told TMZ that they were grateful to the couple for putting money to bring in the firefighters to save all their homes.
Kim Kardashian's sisters Kourtney and Khloe also had to evacuate their homes in nearby Calabasas. Khloe Kardashian said that she had to leave quickly with her baby, True.
I just left with the clothes on my back, but I think I tidied the whole room and the closet in Trues' car (obviously, that's all that matters to me).

Meanwhile, their former in-laws, Caitlyn Jenner, nearly lost her house on top of a hill when the fire Woolsey Fire swept south of Malibu.
However, the fire did not spare the homes of Miley Cyrus, Neil Young and Gerard Butler. Early Monday morning, Cyrus tweeted that his Malibu home – a $ 2.5 million home that she had bought with her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, in 2016 – had been destroyed.
On Monday, the fire had spread to 93,662 acres (143 square miles), with a 30% containment, reported ABC30. Up to 435 structures were destroyed and 200,000 people evacuated. Mandatory evacuation orders were still in effect Tuesday morning for Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Malibu, Bell Canyon and Topanga.
On Sunday, Kim Kardashian, her sisters and her mother Kris Jenner were well enough challenged to participate in the People's Choice Awards, where they gladly accepted the award for the best reality show, the Daily Mail reported. They dedicated their reward to those who were at the forefront of the fires in California.

"We would like to dedicate this victory to all firefighters, police offers and first responders," said Kim after Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall Jenner and Kris Jenner headed for the podium.
"As horrible as it may be, it's amazing to see everyone's mind," Kim Kadashian told the audience.
"So, all we can do to help the many organizations – no help is too small. We must continue to reach out and help each other in these difficult times, "she concluded.
The Kardashian sisters then went to Dodger Stadium to watch Kanye West perform with Kid Cudi. At the concert, one could see Kendall Jenner wearing a medical mask, presumably to protect herself from the smoky area, while she enjoyed the concert.
