MOBILE, AL (WKRG) – Kirk was a tropical storm a few days ago, then dissolved in low pressure and in clouds. Now, it's again a tropical storm. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for the Lesser Antilles chain of islands.

We followed Kirk's remains on the other side of the Atlantic, thinking it could happen.

Kirk is a moderate tropical storm, located in the Atlantic Ocean about 300 miles east of Barbados. Even though he 's reformed, he is already starting to show signs of weakening. It will continue to weaken as it moves into the Caribbean Sea, where it will encounter drier air and strong wind shear. In the longer term, Kirk will probably keep a low latitude path to the Yucatan Peninsula, if that lasts. It will probably not be.
