Asked about his past with the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James, the Boston Celtics' guard, Kyrie Irving, was consistent in his responses: he appreciates what he's learned there and he's ready to move on thing.
After information had arrived, LeBron James had explicitly told the Cavaliers not to exchange Irving in Boston. However, questions about Irving's time in Cleveland have resurfaced.
Abby Chin, a reporter for NBC Sports Boston, asks Irving, before filming, in Charlotte, if he has any comments on the new report.

"Nah, I think I have finished commenting on everything that is disrespectful in Cleveland," said Irving. "I feel like right now where I am in my career, where I want to be, that does not seem to be a distant memory, but it's just a reason why I appreciate the lessons that I'm having. I learned, and I'm just ready to go from the front. "
The question and Irving's answer are fairly accurate. Whenever James comments on the success of Irving or Cavaliers over the years, he deserves the information. It's fair to give Irving a chance to answer and he's just as right as Irving politely refuses this opportunity. He has every right to try to leave everything behind him.
Last season, Irving often bristled when the subject of James and the Cavaliers was approached. He seems to be in a better position with all of this now – indifferent to talking about his views on the issue, but not disturbed by the existence of the discussion.
