Labor MP Joan Ryan attacked "Trots, Stalinists and Communists" in her riding after local party members voted against her.
The member for Enfield North fought back after a campaign led by leftist activists, narrowly approving the motion, by 94 votes to 92.
Ms. Ryan is the President of Labor Friends of Israel and has criticized the treatment of anti-Semitism at work by Jeremy Corbyn.

Writing on Twitter as a result of the vote, the deputy, Tony Blair's former minister, said: "Then lost 92 to 94 votes hardly a decisive victory and it never seemed to me that the Stalinist Communists had any decisive victory. none in them.

Local union officials opened an investigation and complained to party leaders after Iranian TV Press TV was allowed to film the meeting.
The president of Enfield North's Labor Branch, Siddo Dwyer, called the shoot "totally unacceptable".
Another Labor MP criticizing Mr. Corbyn also lost his confidence that evening.
In response, Gavin Shuker, who represents the MP for Luton South, told voters: "This is not part of any formal procedure, so it does not change my role as a Labor MP for Luton South.

He said: "Every party has the right to question what their MP is doing, every party has the right to challenge it about what it does and how it represents the region and that is exactly what it is. that I understand. "
Asked if Jewish parliamentarians should be protected from deselection, he added: "No one should be attacked for any faith, and I am quite clear: racism has no place in our society. .
"There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society or in any of our political parties, as I made it clear to the Prime Minister on Wednesday."
