Lady Gaga was moved to tears at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival after being congratulated for her performance in A star is born.
Gaga, 32, was with director of film and costar Bradley Cooper and other cast members at a panel of TIFF questions and answers on Sunday.
The singer plays Ally, a troubled artist who has abandoned her dream of becoming a singer until veteran musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) convinces her to try again.
Gaga congratulated his members and Cooper for putting "every drop of blood from their heart and veins on the board every day," according to Gaga. The Hollywood Reporter.

"I watched [Cooper] work tirelessly on this film, giving it all, and you never stopped. No one here has done, "she explained.
She burst into tears when Lukas Nelson – son of Willie Nelson and co-author of songs about the movie – told him, "You just destroyed all the scenes in which you were.
The words provoked applause that immediately prompted an ovation.
We saw Gaga burst into tears as she covered her face with her hands. She raised her face and said "Thank you" as the audience began to applaud louder.
She was critically acclaimed for her performance in the film with critics calling her "dynamite."

Cooper, 43, spoke about the experience of working on the film with the actress, saying, "It was the most artistic experience I've ever had, and it was the most at home I never felt as an artist. . "

A star is born is in theaters on October 5th.
