Lady Gaga launches global appeal for suicide prevention and mental health support

St. Joseph's University has been offering its own suicide prevention program for about a decade. Over the past year, her training has doubled to 300 members of the campus community, up from 150 the previous year. According to Greg Nicholls, director of consulting services at St. Joe's, one of the critical aspects of the training is to prepare students to directly ask their peers if they are planning to be part of wrong in order to get help.
