The return of LaMelo Ball in Lithuania, where he played professionally before returning to US soil, produced a spectacularly controversial result on Monday.
While Ball participated in his first match in Lithuania as a member of his father's JBA League, Ball hit Mindaugas Susinskas and provoked a tizzy that involved both teams in a skirmish. He was ejected.

Fortunately for LaMelo, it's far from the most controversial international incident that the Ball family has known. LiAngelo Ball, who was briefly with UCLA, was caught flying on display during a team trip to China. He and several of his teammates were arrested during the incident and were not allowed to leave China for a brief period, but eventually returned. He retired from UCLA before playing a game.
