HOUSTON – Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. offered tips and a free playoff ticket to an 8-year-old girl who was apparently shouted by a fan for a loud applause for an Astros game.
McCullers tweeted Wednesday "Chloe, NEVER stop cheering" and offered her a ticket for a playoff game on October 5th.

Chloe's mother, Monica Beaver, has posted a video of Sunday's 6-2 win over Astros against the Angels, which seems to show another fan who scolds the girl for being too strong. Beaver says that her daughter has been diagnosed with a mood disorder that affects her emotions. Chloe cried after being scolded.
McCullers encouraged Chloe to "encourage us as much as possible" during the first game and said that he was honored to give him a ticket.
