The Los Angeles Police Department was pursuing a murder suspect in a green pickup truck in the San Fernando area on Wednesday night around 5pm.
Eliana Moreno and Newschopper4 Alpha were above the pursuit as the driver drove on Highway 101 near the 405 Freeway interchange. Newschopper4 Bravo was around 5:15 pm
The LAPD said the prosecution had started on the 19,100 Delano block in the Tarzana area.
At approximately 5:20 pm, the prosecution's suspect entered Highway 405 heading south. The traffic was almost non-existent with Colleen Williams of NBC4 commenting that the 405 Freeway void reminded her of "Carmageddon".
Due to the cloud cover of the Sepulveda Pass, Newschopper Alphia had to leave the track for a few minutes.
At 5:35 pm, Newschopper Alpha met the suspect shortly after leaving Highway 10 at 4th Street in Santa Monica.
The pursuit continued in the downtown streets of Santa Monica before the suspect boarded Pico Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard until he was heading east to LA .

After appearing to be heading towards the Freeway and Freeway 405 interchange at West LA, the suspect returned to the ocean on Santa Monica Boulevard.
The suspect was back in Santa Monica around 5:55 pm
After descending on Santa Monica Boulevard, the suspect decided to take the 14th street to Santa Monica heading north until he decided to take Montana Avenue heading east.

Eventually, the suspect turned Ralph's parking on Wilshire Boulevard and South Bundy Drive. The suspect parked the vehicle in front of the grocery store entrance before leaving the vehicle and going peacefully.
Two men came out of the pursuit car and were taken into custody around 18:10.
