Large fire in a warehouse invades buildings in Seattle

A large fire that broke out in a Seattle timber warehouse engulfed several buildings near the city's shipping channel and caused power outages.

The city's fire departments have sent several engines as well as fire boats to fight the fire which began around 9 pm. Saturday. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The fire department has sent an emergency alert within a one kilometer radius of the fire in the Queen Anne neighborhood of the city, urging residents to close their doors and windows .
