Will John Oliver be back tonight for a brand new episode of his HBO Last Week Tonight series with John Oliver, or will there be a rehearsal?

One of the great classics of late-night television is without a doubt John Oliver of HBO. Although Last week is only in its fifth season, the show is now Emmy winner and very popular. Seeing the potential in this, HBO renewed the program last year until 2020, which means Oliver will be on the air for years to come.

But will there be a new episode of the series premiered tonight? Yes, in fact, there will be a new episode tonight! Season 5 still has several episodes to do before the break, so you can listen tonight to see what Oliver has to say about everything that has happened over the past week.

Certainly the biggest news in the headlines is about migrant children who are separated from their families at the border. The issue has raised tons of controversy (and rightly so), leading Donald Trump to sign an order ending the separation of the family. As Bill Maher argued Real time, however, it is Trump who started this horrible zero tolerance policy in the first place, which makes him unique in celebrating his end. We can only assume that Oliver will weigh on this situation.

We all know Oliver for shedding light on other stories we do not talk about as well. It remains to be seen what he will spend the majority of his time focusing on tonight, but one thing is certain. Oliver always has something to say, and he'll probably ruffle feathers tonight as usual.
