Latest news: Heller and Rosen criticize trade in Nevada
LAS VEGAS (AP) – Latest news on the Senate race between Republican Dean Heller and Democrat Jacky Rosen (all local times):
7:15 p.m.
Dean Heller, a Nevada senator, accused Democratic representative Jacky Rosen of going to "separate families" on the US-Mexico border to hold a "photo shoot" while she described the outgoing Republican as a "buffer" for President Donald Trump whose tax plan benefits the rich at the expense of the middle class.
Heller and Rosen traded beards, interrupted them and accused each of them of not telling the truth on Friday night when they met in their first and only debate as part of their fight in the US Senate in the state of the battlefield.
Heller is considered the most vulnerable Republican senator running for re-election this year, as he is the only one to run in a state won by Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Democrats hoping for a reaction to President Donald Trump will propel their base to the polls and bring Rosen to victory on the Nevada battlefield.

Democrat Jacky Rosen reported collecting $ 5 million in donations during the election campaign during the first 17 days of October.
Rosen announced Friday its total fundraising for the last campaign financing reporting period ahead of the Nov. 6 elections.
The new Congressman is participating in a race neck and neck with Republican Senator Dean Heller and has been up every quarter since entering the race.
Heller's campaign did not immediately respond to a message asking if his fundraising totals were also available sooner.
Reports are not due until October 25th.

One of the tightest battles in the Senate this year is Nevada, a row between incumbent Republican Dean Heller and Democrat Jacky Rosen, who will meet in their first and only debate on Friday night in Las Vegas.
She narrowly won her seat in the House of Commons in 2016 after being recruited by former Democratic Senator Harry Reid.
Heller has been in post since 2011. He is a former critic of the president, but he has become his ally.
