Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, two of the biggest stars in the country, made a remarkable debut at the launch of the trailer for their ambitious new movie, 2.0. The film, directed by veteran Shankar, has been in production for a long time, but fans' enthusiasm could not be greater.

In the midst of enthusiastic fans, Rajinikanth and Akshay arrived at Sathyam cinemas in Chennai. Shankar, AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty were also present. Rajinikanth entered, casually dressed in a white shirt and jeans, while Akshay was dressed formally in a gray suit and dark glasses.

2.0, which is following the successful Enthiran movie of 2010, has Rajinikanth playing Dr. Vaseegaran, while Akshay will appear under the name of the evil Dr. Richard. The latter is a talented scientist who goes on the dark side after an accident. Now, as a dark force, he controls crows and mobile phones to wreak havoc on the innocent and suspicious public. That's when Dr. Vaseegaran decides to bring back the Chitti robot.

While Enthiran starred in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, version 2.0 will see Amy Jackson play a droid, which is also the main role of the film. The film's music was performed by Rahman, while his intensive VFX was performed in various centers around the world. In fact, this has been one of the most difficult parts of science fiction drama. The film was originally scheduled to be released in December 2017. After some delay, the filmmakers announced that January 2018 would be its release date. However, due to the VFX workload, it was again postponed to April. Come April and the work of the film was not over yet. Therefore, it was assumed that the manufacturers were planning a day of independence or a date of Diwali for a release. It is now clear that the film will be released on November 29th.

The game has now become bigger with Karan Johar coming on stage as the presenter of the film in the Hindi belt, as he had done with SS Rajamouli's Baahubali.
