This doctor restored our faith in humanity

Prior to surgery, Dr. Daniel McNeely's 8-year-old patient made a request: Could he repair the torn arm of his teddy bear before sinking?

McNeely, a surgeon at IWK Health Center in Halifax, was happy to help. "How could I say no?" McNeely wrote on Twitter, with pictures of the "procedure" of the teddy bear.

The tweet became viral, generating more than 35,000 "likes" and nearly 16,000 "retweets".

The Canadian doctor is even assured that the bear was wearing an anesthesia mask for the operation. "Neonatal mask – helps keep the teddy bear anonymous!" tweeted McNeely.

A girl was playing in a lake. Then she found a 1500 year old sword.

Is not that how King Arthur started? Saga Vanacek, eight, was playing in a lake in Sweden when she found a sword that, according to experts, would date back to the pre-Viking era.

According to a press release from the local museum, the sword – made of wood, leather and metal – could have been manufactured 1,500 years ago.

The sword is now kept at the museum while local authorities are looking for other relics in the lake.

Meanwhile, some people call Saga the "Queen of Sweden".

Need a waste of time? Google has a hidden game for you

Google employees love video games. They hide so much pleasure that Easter eggs pay tribute to their services. The most recent is related to the search, where users will find a hidden text adventure game. No graphics, just type commands and the game takes you on a journey to search for letters in the Google logo. Do not let your boss surprise you while playing.
