Harry Potter fans have been waiting for a good video game and the moment has finally come.
Sequences were posted on what was supposed to be used as a newsgroup tester in America, with 1 minute and 20 seconds illustrating an impressive exploration of the wizarding world (via Press Start and RastaPasta). There have been a number of Potter games over the years, but that sounds like the kind of RPG hit that a legend so rich and so many mad fans deserve.
Although rumors suggest that the game is developed by Rocksteady, we think instead that Avalanche – the one who created Disney Infinity, not Just Cause – actually works on the game, even if it is real. The video really looks authentic, although there is a level of violence hard to imagine in a Harry Potter game (ie an apparent assassination of Goblin).
This side, however, is an intriguing prospect, the description offering some additional clues about what fans can expect if the film were to be released:
"Located in the magical world of the nineteenth century, this 3rd person open world action RPG game focuses on your character endowed with unique abilities that was later accepted at the school of witchcraft and witchcraft. Hogwarts sorcery. " Hogwarts student who demonstrates a latent gift for magic with a unique ability to spot and identify remnants of an old potant power. Upon arrival, strange events begin to materialize in the Forbidden Forest and troubles begin to occur in the castle walls. With Professor Elezar Fig, you embark on a journey to places known and never seen to discover the truth behind these mysterious events. "In your quest, you'll create potions, master new spells and discover fantastic beasts, fight Dark Wizards, Goblins and other supernatural enemies and discover the truth about your destiny – the fate of the wizarding world is in your midst. Discover new secrets and change the fate of the wizarding world Discover a new magical system that offers countless possibilities to master the magic Explore the wizarding world for the first time Choose your house and friends at Hogwarts and decide to embark on an adventure of good or evil – create your own witch or wizard and live a whole new story, separate from books or movies "
All of this seems, well, magical, so now we just need a confirmation on the little problem that is actually going on.
