Lena Dunham is on the hot seat! the girls costar of the creator Andrew Rannells asked him when he appeared on Watch what's going on live with Andy Cohen Wednesday, October 10, to name him the least favorite of his close friend Taylor SwiftFamous ex-boyfriend.
Before Dunham, 32, had a chance to answer, animate Andy Cohen intervened to indicate that she was sitting next to Maggie Gyllenhaal, including the younger brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, briefly dated Swift, 28, in 2010 and was widely regarded as the inspiration for the success of the song "All Too Well".
"I want to do right by her on this issue," replied the actress. "My least favorite was Calvin Harris because I felt that he was petty in public and who needs to do it? "
The pop star and the DJ, 34, said they stopped their 15-month romance in June 2016. She started to see Tom Hiddleston shortly thereafter, but they separated three months later. She is now dating Joe Alwyn.
In a series of tweets a month after their separation, Harris accused Swift of trying to give her a "bad look" after confirming that she had co-written her hit "That's what you came under a pseudonym. (Dunham used aerial quotes on WWHL when she called Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles.) He then criticized Swift for "trying to demolish your ex-bf for something to do."
After taking over Harris' name on Wednesday, Dunham congratulated her friend Swift for breaking her political silence in a recent Instagram post in support of two Tennessee Democratic candidates.
"It was really amazing," said the Golden Globe winner. "I'm always proud of Taylor. Not only is she an incredible friend to me on a personal level, but she is also an incredible friend to many people around the world. She felt that it was time for her to talk about politics … [and] I think she's chosen a really very powerful moment to express herself. "
