Letter from Rylan Wood, a seven-year-old NFL fan, to Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys

A young NFL fan became an internet sensation after his brutal letter to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones turned viral.

Seven-year-old Rylan Wood was observing the Cowboys on Monday night with her mother, Kayla Jimenez, at their home in Texas, southwest of Dallas.

When the Cowboys fell behind the Tennessee Titans early in the game, Wood was determined to do something if they could not go back and win.

"He said that if the Cowboys lost," I really want to write a letter, "Jimenez told WFAA in Dallas.

"So, I said to myself" OK. "

Wood, however, did not have a chance to see the end of the match. He had school the next morning and had to go to bed before the end.

For his sake, it's probably good that he did it. The Cowboys lost to the 28-14 Titans, losing their third game in five weeks to a total of 3-5.

"The first thing he asked me when he woke up was," Have we won? Jimenez told the WFAA.

"When I said no, he said," OK, I'm writing this letter after school. "

So, with a little help from his mother, Wood wrote his letter to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that afternoon.

The young man did not hold back, writing:

Wood seems to have perfectly captured the frustration felt by many Cowboy fans across the country this season. And, adorable, he finished the letter making sure Jones knew he was not trying to hurt him.

"They've broken my heart a bit," Wood told WFAA. "They did a good job, but I just want them to win every time."

Who knows? Maybe this letter was the missing piece that Jones needed to transform his team's season.

If nothing else, it's at least a chance.
