It was nice to find a dry day and temperatures were also close to average for this time of year as we climbed in the 50s and 60s.
Certainly an improvement over the 40s we saw the previous three days!
Unfortunately, the heat will not persist, a front moving tonight and offering the possibility of a light rain tonight.
With temperatures falling around 30 degrees on Sunday morning, this light rain will become light.
By the time precipitation ceases for most of the area late Sunday morning, it could still fall to 2 inches of snow.
The good news is that, with the ground temperatures still warm enough, most of these will melt in contact with the ground.
Temperatures remain in the 30s at nearly 40 degrees Sunday and will fall in the mid-20s on Sunday night, likely ending the growing season throughout the region.
After that, we dry up for the rest of the forecast and temperatures begin to warm up.
For the second half of the week, the peaks are at their highest in the 60s!
