Thousands of spectators reportedly went to the end of an outdoor music festival in Atlanta after reports of a shooting while Lil Wayne would perform Sunday night.
The chaotic scene took place at the A3C Festival and Conference, an annual festival of hip hop music at the Georgia Freight Depot. Lil Wayne was leading the show on Sunday.
The rapper tweeted around 10:45 pm local time, "I hope everyone at A3C is safe !!"
Police in Atlanta could not find evidence of a shooting on the scene Sunday night, according to press reports. Someone would have shouted that there was a gun, which scattered the crowd.
At least a dozen people suffered minor injuries during their flight, including ankle injuries and lacerations, WSB-TV reported.
