Lincoln Towing has its revoked license "CBS Chicago

Chicago (CBS) – The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) has revoked the license of one of Chicago's infamous towing companies, Lincoln Towing.

In a statement, the ICC said:

"After a lengthy process in which staff submitted more than 800 seizures of unauthorized goods by the licensee, the Commission concludes, on the basis of the preponderance of the evidence, that honesty and fairness are the integrity, that it is indeed unworthy to be entitled to hold a commercial vehicle movers license and that its license must be immediately revoked and that Lincoln Towing must immediately cease operating a business of "

The state has opened an investigation to determine if Lincoln Towing should be allowed to continue operating after several complaints regarding illegal towing and other improper practices.

Complaints included driver overload, towing properly parked vehicles and improper billing.

In 2014, the security video showed Antonton, Anne Scott, with Lincoln Towing. Scott parked at the back of his vehicle as the tow trucks began to pull him out.

Lincoln Towing has several officers in the Chicago area.
