Lindsey Buckingham sues Fleetwood Mac for firing the group's new tour.

In the lawsuit, the Hollywood Reporter said that the guitarist and songwriter was looking for his part of the tour because he still wanted to play and he was able to play.

The costume is named after his friends Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie and John McVie.

Buckingham claims that he learned five days after the band's appearance at Radio City Music Hall in January that the band would shoot without him. He says he would have received at least $ 12 million for his share of the tour product.

The group publicist did not respond to an email asking for comments.

Buckingham, 68, joined the group in 1974 with his girlfriend at the time, Stevie Nicks. Since then, he has often been his singer and songwriter. He has written and sung hits such as Go Your Own Way and Tusk.

He had previously left the band from 1987 to 1996 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

The tour in more than 50 cities began on Oct. 3, with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn replacing Buckingham.

Meanwhile, Buckingham is touring solo in Los Angeles on Friday.
