Milner helped his team defeat PSG 3-2 at the opening of the Champions League at Anfield last night.
After half-an-hour after Daniel Sturridge's first game, Milner doubled Liverpool's lead by pulling his arm.
While goals from Thomas Meunier and Kylian Mbappe put the visitors back on the bench, substitute Roberto Firmino saved all three points for Jurgen Klopp's team with his injury time winner.
Aside from the ultimate goal of Firmino, many Liverpool fans have been granted after seeing midfielder Milner.
PSG defender Juan Bernat was seen on the left flank before handing the ball to Neymar who had positioned himself on the sideline inside half of Liverpool.
But while Neymar was trying to take the plunge, he was greeted by Milner who took up the challenge, but just to get rid of the former aces of Barcelona.
Milner's challenge provoked a roar from the fans and left Neymar crumpled to the ground after the brutal tackle.
And unsurprisingly, fans absolutely loved Milner's defense.
"British old school football. I miss this kind of player, "wrote a fan.
Another said, "Haha absolutely beats him."
"Never cheered a tackle so much in my life," commented a third supporter.
A fourth fan said, "A typical Milner tackle, so underrated."
Manager Klopp then praised his team for its impressive performance against PSG.
"It was good, really good in all departments," he said.
"It's so hard to defend them, but we did it. Good organization and a big heart are always a good combination to defend.
"All 11 players participated in that. A good performance against an exceptionally strong opponent; it was necessary we played well.
"The atmosphere was fantastic, so special to do these things in this stadium. It was nice. "
