Ryan Fitzpatrick's wife, Liza Barber, believes in Fitzmagic. The couple met while they were both attending Harvard. Now, Fitzpatrick is one of the most compelling stories of the sport after leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a good start.
Before becoming Bucs' starter, Fitzpatrick spent the last years of his career bouncing around the NFL as a quarterback. According to NBC Sports, Fitzpatrick played for seven teams for 15 seasons and spent 105 games in those 15 years on the bench.
When Fitzpatrick does not give up football fields, he helps his wife raise six children: Brady, Maizy, Zoey, Tate, Lucy and Ruby. Fitzpatrick made a long trip to the NFL's fame, and he enjoyed sharing his moments with his kids.
According to Peter King of NBC Sports, Fitzpatrick faced his wife and six children after the opening of the Bucs against the Saints.
"We did not have to say much, and I do not say much," Fitzpatrick told NBC Sports. "I have been overwhelmed by the emotion."

1. The couple is expecting his seventh child
Fitzpatrick and Barber remain busy with six children. Things are about to get even busier as the couple are expecting their seventh child in January 2019. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the news.

While this may seem shocking to some, Fitzpatrick notes that every child has brought even more joy to the family, especially during the holidays. Fitzpatrick spoke with the New York Post about what Christmas at Fitzpatrick House is.
"Every time I have another child, it gets a lot happier and more rewarding," Fitzpatrick told the New York Post.
As you can imagine, with six children, the couple needs a system for everything, especially Christmas. As a quarterback of the NFL, vacations are often not days off and the quarterback explained what it's like to balance everything.
"It will be total chaos," noted Fitzpatrick at the New York Post before Christmas 2015. "We'll keep them in the room until seven, so they'll probably be ready to leave before that, but we'll make sure we do not wake up until seven o'clock, from seven o'clock until I leave my house [for the team facility] at probably 11:30, it's going to be crowded. … We need to understand how we do it. Sometimes we begin the youngest to the oldest, and we leave all their gifts open, so that the youngest open all the gifts, then the youngest. So, Brady should really wait. Sometimes we do it one at a time, we have to find out what we are going to do this year. But it's a long morning of gifts and … danish, food and chaos.
2. Barber was an outstanding football player at Harvard
Fitzpatrick is not the only athlete trained at Harvard in this relationship. Barber, who grew up in West De Moines, Iowa, has been an outstanding football player for the Crimson over the four years of his university career.
Barber was captain during his senior season in 2004, anchoring the Harvard defensive unit throughout his last college season. She has been an American actress during her career before graduating in 2005
3. Fitzpatrick offered at a McDonald's after almost ruining the surprise

It was Fitzpatrick's rookie season. The couple had been dating for a year and had a joint bank account. They were ready for the next level.
So, Fitzpatrick bought a ring. Only he bought it from this same common bank account. He hid the ring in the couple's car while they were shopping, and Liza was looking for a few purchases at a Gap store in the area.
When she made a purchase, her card was declined. She told the store associate that she would check her bank account when she returned home.
Suddenly, Fitzpatrick knew he would have to come up a lot sooner than expected. He explained the situation to the Los Angeles Times.
I knew she was going to notice the amount of money that was missing.
So I thought, "Oh, man." I had to understand from home Gap how I would propose. Fortunately, the ring was in the car.
We drove through all these luxurious places. I asked her if she wanted to have dinner and sit by the lake. It was in November and she was like, "Why would I do that? That's all she wanted. It was only McDonald's. My relationship with my wife and her acquaintance, it was just the perfect setting.
She probably ordered a 10-piece McNuggets chicken and had a sweet and sour sauce on her face.
4. Fitzpatrick wears his wedding ring at football matches

The couple has a tacit agreement on the fact that they do not withdraw their covenants. Fitzpatrick wears it even on Sundays when he plays quarterback. Fitzpatrick noted that reason had sentimental value.
"I did not see any reason to take it off, I suppose," Fitzpatrick told the New York Times. "It means something. It's not like I'm trying to put a message on anyone's face. It's just a personal matter between me and my wife. It is important for me not to remove it.
5. Fitzpatrick's son starts his father on his fantastic football team
Fitzpatrick has had his fair share of doubts during his career, but not in his own family. When Week 1 took place around the 2018 season, Fitzpatrick's son, Brady, was one of the few people to have launched his father into his fantasy lineup. Fitzpatrick had 417 yards and four touchdowns.
"So my 9 year old son, Tate, convinced my 11 year old son, Brady, to put me on his fantasy team today," Fitzpatrick told NBC Sports. "I did not even know Brady was playing fantastic football. I guess it was a good decision.
