Slash and Myles Kennedy and the conspirators performed their new driving song 'Driving Rain' on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday.
"Driving Rain" opens on a Slash riff, quintessential and relentless. He peeled the hard rocker with licks and shredded solos, while Kennedy lamented, "I can not see the road through the driving rain / But I'm not going to stop now / His love remind me I will not stop now.
Slash, Kennedy and the conspirators also played the bluesy ripper, "Mind Your Manners".
"Driving Rain" and "Mind Your Manners" will appear on Slash's next album with Kennedy and the conspirators, Living the dream, which arrives on September 21st. The album marks their first ensemble since 2014 World on fire.
Slash starring Miles Kennedy and the conspirators will begin a North American tour tonight, September 13, at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, California. The trek ends on October 14 at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California.
