WILMINGTON, NC –
Several people were arrested in North Carolina after a large group of people had entered a dollar store in Wilmington.
On Saturday afternoon, dozens of individuals went into the Family Dollar on Greenfield Street and chose the clean place.
The Wilmington police were dispatched but were asked to leave the store's office.
News Alert – A few moments ago, officers arrested five people who broke into and looted the Dollar General at 5th and Dawson Street. Fees are pending and these details will be published as soon as they are available.

At approximately 6:40 pm, police were sent in response to another looting incident at Dollar General on Dawson Street.
Officials say five people were charged in connection with this robbery.
At the Greenfield Street Family Dollar, Wilmington police said that despite the wishes of the store manager, they would still look for the individuals who stole the store and charged them "to the fullest extent of the law".
