NASA spotted its Opportunity vehicle on the surface of Mars a few months after the solar-powered vehicle was wrapped up in a huge dust storm, causing it to hibernate. The space agency is still unable to contact the mobile.
Lost in the storms that enveloped the red planet and prevented sunlight from reaching its surface, the latest signal received from the $ 400 million rover was June 10.
Last month, NASA warned that it could never come into contact with the rover Opportunity again.

In an attempt to restore communication, on September 11, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory began increasing the frequency of mobile orders.
"NASA still has not heard of the Opportunity rover, but at least we can see it again," the group said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Opportunity is on Mars since 2004.
In June, NASA announced that its Mars Curiosity rover had found organic molecules on the red planet described as "essential to our quest for life".
