Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, made waves at the 15th annual CFDA / Vogue Fashion Conference in Brooklyn last night and not just because she is the offspring of Queen of Pop.
In a bold and unpretentious move, the 22-year-old – who has been a role model for brands such as Stella McCartney, Converse and Gypsy Sport – unveiled everything on the red carpet in a white and vaporous mini-dress. Leon donned a look from Luar's spring-summer19 collection, designed by Brooklyn, New York-based designer Raul Lopez, who has also garnered many celebrities, including Kylie Jenner and Kendrick Lamar.
Madge's eldest daughter, who posed on the carpet with Lopez, has accessorized the asymmetrical design with a tiny snakeskin bag and uniquely shaped earrings, designed to look like white claws. For the shoes, she presented a pair of matching white leather ankle-strap sandals, adorned with a subtle crystal embellishment along the front strap. Leon cleverly put things in place by slipping a sparkling tennis bracelet and smoothing his hair into a tight ponytail.
Lopez, the founder of Luar, was one of the finalists of the evening, but he unfortunately lost to Pyan Moss's first-prize winner, Kerby Jean-Raymond, worth $ 400,000. The CFDA / Vogue finalists were Emily Adams Bode of the men's clothing brand Bode and Jonathan Cohen.
