"I'm keeping my house in the Hamptons, so that took away the heat," she said. "And I've also bought a home up in the country – a smaller one that I like a lot."

News broke the lawsuit in July, with court documents obtained by The Blast alleging that Luann had breached a settlement stipulation in his divorce by failing to create a trust "for the benefit of his two children".
The judgment in his divorce forced Alexander to give the act of the former couple's matrimonial residence in Bridgehampton, New York, to Luann – who agreed to create trust for his two children. Luann was also required to "finance the trust with an undivided interest and a half in and at the matrimonial home," the documents read.
But this trust has never been "created," according to the lawsuit. Instead, Luann sold the home in November 2014 for $ 8 million and used the profits to buy a home in Southampton, New York for $ 3.1 million.
According to the by-law, if the marital home was sold, "the total net proceeds of the sale could, at any time prior to the dissolution of the Fund, be reinvested by [Luann] to acquire another residence, provided that the children continue to be the owners, in trust, of an undivided half of the said property. "
The documents alleged that Luann had "never, since his purchase of premises, created the trust or transmitted to his children, in trust, an undivided interest of half in the premises."
She then threatened to sell her home "at more than fifty percent of its current value and to leave Suffolk County with the profits … to buy a luxury home alone in upstate New York."
In addition to preventing Luann from selling his home in Sag Harbor, the lawsuit asks Luann to respect his judgment.
