Disney's Star Wars movies have made public many Memorable creatures, thanks in large part to the imaginative eye of concept designer Jake Lunt Davies. To announce that he had finished his work on Star Wars: Episode IX, the artist took advantage of Instagram to share a number of images illustrating the many creations to which he contributed.

So this week, my contract ended on Star Wars Epix … .a bit after 5 years and 5 movies, I finally ended up on Star Wars. As a child, it was the ambition of my childhood and I still can not believe that I had the opportunity to participate and contribute to the legacy of the Star Wars galaxy. Above, some of the things I've designed for TFA, Rogue 1, TLJ and Solo. However, even if my fellow designers @lukedfisher @martin_rezard and Ivan Manzella imagine all these characters and ideas, none of this would happen or become a reality without the brilliant team we work with Neal Scanlan – the sculptors; mold makers, foam shop and seamers; the manufacturing team; the modelers; the mechies, the animatronic designers and the specialists of the electronics; the hair team; painters and make-up artists; and the artists who finally give life to these creatures. Thank you Neal for asking me to be part of the team. Beyond the CFX department, I would also like to thank costume designers Michael Kaplan, @glyn_dillon and Dave Crossman, as well as CG artists from @ilmvfx for adding magic to our work. And thanks to JJ, @riancjohnson, Gareth Edwards, @realronhoward, Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Kathleen Kennedy for accompanying my creations for your movies. There is good information on the subject. #starwars #theforceawakens #tfa #episodevii #rogueone #thelastjedi #episodeviii #tlj #soloastarwarsstory

The artist shared: "So this week, my contract ended on Star wars Epix… .what after 5 years and 5 movies, I finally finished Star Wars. Like a child it was the ambition of my childhood and I still can not believe that I had the opportunity to participate and contribute to the legacy of the Star Wars galaxy. "

He then thanked his many collaborators, from the directors to the artists in charge of concretizing his concepts.

A look at the image above will remind fans how diverse the galaxy is and how many new creations have come a long way in recent years. Although the artist admits that his work on the next film is over, it is not he who creates the pieces. There is still a lot of time left in the production before officially turning.

Little is known about what to expect Episode IX, although Lucasfilm has confirmed that this would be the conclusion of the Skywalker saga.

Returning troop members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyongo, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo and Billie Heavy. Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant will be joined by Star Wars veterans Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Billy Dee Williams, who will take over the role of Lando Calrissian.

Star wars: Episode IX will be released in theaters in December 2019.
