Scheduled schedule changes
Until early 2019, all single-seat Raritan Valley service outside of peak hours will begin at Newark Penn Station to allow for a positive train control facility.
All PATH stations between Christopher Street and 33rd Street will be closed every weekend between 11:59 pm. Friday and 5 am Monday to October 26th to complete PATH improvements. PATH will provide a free MetroCard for two limited-use trips only to the World Trade Center station. The MetroCard is only valid during the weekend of its show. Hudson-Bergen light rail passengers will be honored 24 hours a day when Hoboken and Newport stations are closed.
