Macron's popularity declines again in September – poll

PARIS (Reuters) – The popularity of French President Emmanuel Macron further deteriorated in September, adding to his administration's concerns following the departure of political figures and the scandal of his bodyguard, according to a poll released Sunday.

Only 29% of respondents in September said they were satisfied with President Macron, compared to 34% last month and 39% two months ago, according to the Ifop poll of the Sunday Journal.

The Ifop survey was conducted from 14 to 22 September with a sample of 1,964 people.
