Maddox Ritch, the 6-year-old boy who was found dead after missing in a park in North Carolina, is considered "sweet and loving" as his funeral projects are announced.

At the Raymer-Kepner funeral home in Huntersville, North Carolina, Maddox will be traveling on Thursday, October 4 from 7 to 9 pm and her funeral will be held on Friday, October 5 at 11 am, the obituary said. A private burial will also take place.
In the guest book of the funeral home, a benefactor wrote: "Your beautiful spirit, your smile and your beautiful blue eyes have left a mark on my life."

Maddox, who had autism and limited verbal skills, was walking with his father and another adult at Gastin Park in Rankin on September 22 when he started running.
Maddox's father, Ian Ritch, told PEOPLE Tuesday: "I was terrified. I did not know in which direction he was, so I looked as hard as I could, I took different paths and everything. "
