Patrick Mahomes will still have special TV footage from the Kansas City Chiefs celebrating his record-breaking pass in a win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
That's because Tyreek Hill recorded it.
Mahomes racked up 249 yards with two touchdowns against Hill, but it's the second time the Chiefs' first-year starter has beaten the Hall of Fame Len Dawson for the season's record. It was the 31st for Mahomes – with six games to play so far – and this allowed Kansas City to win a 26-14 win against the Cardinals and another match closer to the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
Hill celebrated the score by jumping into the stands and then commandeering the CBS camera, which earned him an unsportsmanlike penalty on the part of the officials and a brutal rebuke from coach Andy Reid.

David Johnson rushed for 98 yards on the ground and in the air, while Larry Fitzgerald caught six catches for 50 yards and defeated Terrell Owens as the NFL's second-best scorer in the final minutes.
Fitzgerald has 15.952 yards in a 15-year career, beating just the Jerry Rice Hall of Fame.

Arizona responded with a 75-yard ground attack.
Both defenses weathered the rest of the half, with the Cardinals sacking Mahomes four times and the Chiefs' rejuvenated defense receiving enough pressure to keep Rosen uncomfortable.
The Chiefs finally reached the end zone when Mahomes scored a third-goal pass in a double cover from Hill, who rocked her for her quarterback record.
"Listen, he's been through a hell of a year," said Reid about Mahomes, who was not available after the match due to a family emergency. "He played his heart and I love the bottom of it, how he goes about his business.He has a lot to do with regards to the responsibility of running the offense."
As for the celebration of Hill's touchdown?
"It was too much," Reid said, hiding a smile. "I was not happy."
The Cardinals got stuck with Johnson in the second half and slowly moved closer to another touchdown. He carried the ball six times and finished a 12-game run with 61 yards with a deep pass to bring Arizona to 20-14 in the middle of the third quarter.
But after the Cardinals had recovered the ball early in the fourth inning, Rosen got a screen pass that Justin Houston had chosen on the line of scrimmage. And instead of fighting for a decisive TD, the Cardinals saw Spencer Ware plunge into a touchdown to extend a lead that the Chiefs would never give up.
"I thought the guys fought to the end," said Cardinals coach Steve Wilks. "There are no moral victories in this game. All the credit goes to Kansas City, a well prepared and quality football team."
