Mainly dry in Denver, mountain snow flurries continue

[ad_1]

Wind conditions will continue at the end of our weekend, with bursts of up to 30 miles per hour in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Temperatures will remain below average and will reach the mid-50s in the afternoon. Snowfalls will continue in the Colorado Mountains throughout the day, but mostly dry conditions are expected here in Denver. A shower or two can not be excluded, mainly during the noon and afternoon hours across the Front Range.

The flurries will continue in the mountains until Monday morning. A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 11 am for the high country. Meanwhile in Denver, Monday will be an exact copy of Sunday, with peaks in the 1950s and mostly dry conditions.

We will have a dry day on Tuesday while temperatures remain in the 50 degrees. Expect a decrease in strong gusts of wind with a mix of sun and clouds.

Another system will pass Wednesday and Thursday, bringing another snap across Colorado. Again, a slight build-up is possible in the Denver area. Temperatures will drop, with peaks in the 30s by Thursday.

Conditions will begin to dry out and warm up slowly by Friday, while the peaks will reach the top 40.
