October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A number of events are taking place in our area, including a walk / run of 5,000 real men dressed in pink. The event is a 5 km course at Princeton City Park. It will be held on Saturday, October 27th. On-site registration is at 27:30 on October 27th. The race starts at 8 o'clock in the morning. Dr. David Mullins is the representative of the American Cancer Society, Real Men Wear Pink, in southern West Virginia. He says this money is important for breast cancer research.

"Breast cancer is by far the most common cancer in women, with the exception of skin cancer. Breast cancer will be diagnosed in more than 1,700 women in the state of West Virginia. Nearly 200 of them will succumb to the disease, so we want to educate and do everything we can to try to work.
towards a cure, "said Dr. Mullins.

The registration fee is $ 20. You can download a printable registration form here or register online here. For more information, contact Sommer Mullins at 304-952-8373.
