Marvel Studios star Mark Ruffalo reacts to his public "dismissal" by Avengers Joe and Anthony Russo directors on Twitter.

As part of a segment during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Ruffalo says aloud the title of the next Avengers movie. He then went on Twitter and asked Fallon to censor the so-called revelation.

"[Jimmy Fallon]I'm confident you'll shorten my spoiler tonight, "Ruffalo said on Twitter. It was his home "off the record". Please, do not make me any more trouble with Marvel (Barry). DM me back. M "

Fallon censored the title that Ruffalo had revealed, even putting a black bar on his mouth to prevent fans from reading his lips.

That was not enough for Joe and Anthony Russo. Having been burned by Ruffalo's loose lips before. They told Ruffalo via Twitter: "Mark, you're fired."

Ruffalo has now responded rather timidly, tweeting back"Guys … can we talk about it?"

If Ruffalo's answer is a little undersized, his fans have more than compensated for this with their own answers.

While Fallon heard what Ruffalo said Tonight's show, Marvel fans managed to suppress the beep to reveal that Ruffalo had declared that the title of the film was The last avenger.

That does not mean that The last avenger is certainly the title of the next Avengers movie. If all that was done as a bit for the show, then it's possible that Ruffalo just created a title for the segment. The Last Avenger makes sense as a word game Avengers 4 being the latest Avengers movie for many of the stars of the premiere Avengers movie.

On the other hand, if it's the real title, it clearly refers to the first Captain America movie, Captain America: the first avenger. This puts a lot of emphasis on Steve Rogers, who already has a lot of attention after Chris Evans' emotional farewell to the character he has posted on social media.

Separate reports suggest that the title of Avengers 4 East Avengers: Annihilation, taking its subtitle from a series of cosmic events from Marvel Comics. This title may be more believable for some since it has not been revealed for a while in a comedy.
