Maroon 5 is definitely a safe choice for the NFL, and this will likely lead to moans on social media. Even before the Super Bowl LIII group report (February 3, 2019), 2014 performer Bruno Mars asked the league to choose a hip-hop artist for the half-time.

At least, we will probably see Cardi B, as she is featured on the song Maroon 5, "Girls Like You".

"It's a Super Bowl tradition to speculate on the performers for the Pepsi Halftime Show," an NFL spokeswoman told Business Insider on request to confirm the reports. "We continue to work with Pepsi on our projects, but we have no ads to make on what will be another epic show."
