Marquette King of the Denver Broncos put in reserve, Colby Wadman promoted

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Punter Colby Wadman was promoted by the Broncos from his training squad after Denver placed brawling thrower Marquette King on the injured thigh reserve.

King is scheduled to meet with Dr. Kalle Stidham on Monday to examine what could be a worsening of a potential sports hernia, said a league source, Adam Schefter of ESPN. He has fought the injury since the organization of team activities, according to the source.

King had a difficult first month in Denver after signing a $ 7 million, three-year contract following his release from the Oakland Raiders last spring.

The Broncos brought Wadman last week to push King, but he had another bad exit against Kansas City on Monday night. -23 victory over the Broncos.
