Mary Lou Retton, a contestant for "Dance with the Stars", and her husband Shannon Kelly divorced after 27 years of marriage.
Retton, a retired Olympic gold medalist, discussed the split with her dance partner, Sasha Farber, in a preview of "DWTS" posted on People.com.
"I had a divorce. People do not know it. This is the first time I say it in public, "she said.
Mary Lou then added that the divorce with Shannon, a former quarterback, had been finalized in February, calling the split "news".
