Ryan Tannehill or Brock Osweiler?
We do not care?
They will not beat anyone with what suddenly seems to be the worst football defense.
Matt Burke's group had another stinker on Thursday.
And this time, it was on national television.
Deshaun Watson lit them like a pumpkin. Lamar Miller has read them. And perhaps most tellingly, Adam Gase scored eight points with the remainder of the fourth quarter.
Gase simply did not trust his defense to stop. He was right.
Final score: Texans 42, Dolphins 23.
Embarrassing. And overall awful.
There have been so many major defensive failures, some larger ones like the 58-yard Miller Porter have almost been forgotten.
The dolphins had no answer for Watson, whether in the pocket or on the outside
Watson had five touchdown passes in his first 19 pass attempts! – and each exposed the major deficiencies of the Dolphins in defense.
They can not cover tight space (Jordan Thomas had two scoring shots).
They can not fire the quarterback (Watson escaped a number of contenders from the landing game during his second pass on two touchdowns).
And they have inexcusable breakdowns in the back that led to touchdowns of 73 and 49 yards.
What's up with Bobby McCain? Will Fuller has repeatedly overtaken him.
And while Xavien Howard seemed to resist DeAndre Hopkins, 'Nuk' still had two landmarks.
The Texans dashed and embarrassed the Dolphins in the second half, with touchdowns on four of their first five possessions.
The Dolphins start 3-0? A distant memory.
They reach the midpoint of the season at 0.500 for the third time in as many seasons under the direction of Gase.
And here's why: The Dolphins have awarded an absurd 167 points in five games.
Even if Osweiler played like Dan Marino, it would not matter much.
And that night, he was not Marino.
Faced with the team that sent him to Cleveland a year after awarding him a $ 72 million deal, Osweiler had no revenge.
Instead, he proved that Bill O'Brien was right.
Osweiler completed 21 of 37 passes for 241 yards and one interception. Many of these statistics were hollow.
Frankly, the first half was weird.

But all this was only the prelude to the strangest exchange of the half: Osweiler's groping, which was not.
The Dolphins' two-minute exercise seemed to end in disaster when Josh Keyes lashed out at Oweiler. The ball went somehow directly back and Natrell Jamerson recovered it for an apparent hit. But after review, the officials determined that the pass was incomplete and Houston had to settle for a 14-10 lead at halftime.
The third quarter even exceeded it.
