Disney has released a second video featuring some of the characters from his upcoming animated show, Resistance to Star Wars: Ace, a team of pilots who protect the base. The show will follow the inhabitants of Colossus, a massive floating base located on an oceanic planet. Last August, we received a video featuring Team Fireball, a group of racing drivers, including Kaz, (voiced by Christopher Sean), recruited into the Resistance as a spy.
This new performance shows another group of drivers and a few more high stakes races that will take place in the show. First, there is Torra Doza (Myrna Velasco), a bubbly and talented young driver who is friends with Kaz. There is also the Fazon Hype (Donald Faison), the grumpy and ex-imperial driver Griff Halloran (Stephen Stanton), the cold Frey Fenris (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn), and the daring Bo Keevil (whose l & rsquo; voice actor has not been revealed, strangely).
The featurette shows each pilot and their ship. They each have their own color scheme, and there are many clichés that highlight some of the actions that can be expected about a show that talks about spacecraft pilots. There are also other clues about the forthcoming era with movies like the force awakens and The last Jedi, with glimpses of Kylo Ren's ship and X-Wings of the Resistance flying around him. Donald Fasion notes that his own 10-year-old would love the series. "Because it's about drivers, racing, he's spying, everything you've ever wanted on a Star Wars television show.
Resistance to Star Wars premieres on Sunday, October 7th on Disney Channel.
