Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp: It's such a love match of the 80s. It only happened about 30 years later.
The star of "When Harry Met Sally" confirmed his commitment Thursday with the singer "Pink Houses".
"Enlisted", Ryan subtitled a post on Instagram featuring a hand-drawn illustration of the couple, who began dating in 2010 and who separated before meeting last year.

Their meeting may have been a surprise even for them.
