Tuesday's Mega Millions draw jackpot jumped to $ 470 million, making it potentially the 13th largest jackpot in American lottery history. The cash option was worth $ 265 million.

The cash option was worth $ 265 million.
The bi-weekly draw has been postponed 21 times since the last catch of the jackpot on July 24th. This jackpot is the 6th largest of Mega Millions' 16 year history.
While Friday's draw did not win a jackpot, two people bought tickets for five numbers, but not the Mega Ball. One was bought in Kentucky and is worth $ 1 million. The other – sold in California – is valued at $ 638,267.
California lottery prizes vary based on ticket sales and the number of winners. They differ from the second fixed prices offered in other participating States.
Three tickets sold in New Jersey correspond to four issues plus the Mega Ball and are worth $ 10,000 each.
They were purchased at the following locations:
- ShopRite on Highway 35 in the wall
- Exxon on King George Road in the Basking Ridge area of Bernards
- Krauszer's Food Store on St. George Avenue in Rahway
Friday's winning numbers were: 27, 28, 32, 41 and 69. The drawn Mega Ball was 12. The mega was 2X.
