The Duchess of Sussex is pregnant and must give birth next spring, announced the Kensington Palace.
The news has been announced as Prince Harry and she begin a tour of Australia.
Kensington Palace said the couple "have enjoyed all the support they have received from around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
The baby will be seventh from the throne.
The Queen and other members of the Royal Family were informed of the pregnancy Friday, when members of the Royal Family gathered in Windsor for the wedding of Princess Eugenie.
