Meghan Markle and Prince Harry came out Thursday to support another cause close to the prince's heart.

The royal couple attended 100 days for peace, an evening of gala music marking the centenary of the end of the First World War – and raised funds for three charities that face mental health issues. Together – The Royal Foundation's Mental Health Initiative.

After a series of all-black sets (including a blazer dress and a powerful pantsuit), Meghan arrived in a gorgeous blue sleeveless dress signed by Taiwanese and Canadian designer Jason Wu. She paired the dress with matching blue satin stilettos with jewel ornaments from her shoe designer, Aquazzura, and wore a small Dior marine clutch.

She wore her long hair, which is usually held in a messy bun, dropped around her shoulders, channeling the old Hollywood glamor with loops inspired by Veronica Lake.

After arriving at Central Hall in Westminster, the first part of the show included performances by Lesley Garrett; "He wishes the clothes of heaven" – a poem by WB Yeats published in 1899 and the first lines of "For the Fallen", written by Laurence Binyon in 1914.

During the break, Harry and Meghan met some of the evening's performers and representatives of the three charities, as well as the administrators and sponsors of the Royal Armories – the British Museum of Arms and Weapons. Meghan has already met some of the representatives when she joined Harry at the Endeavor Fund Awards earlier this year, before the wedding.

Their release took place two days after taking part in one of the highlights of Harry's public calendar, the WellChild Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, which highlighted the help given to young people and praised their courage in their battles of health.

At Wednesday's event, the couple attended a prep reception, where they met the winners and their families before Harry delivered a speech and award.
