Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leave Australia after the announcement of a pregnancy

Just hours after Kensington Palace announced her pregnancy, Meghan Markle came out with Prince Harryat the Admiralty House in Sydney, Australia, for their first royal tour as a married couple.

For the meeting, the Duchess of Sussex was wearing an Australian designer outfit Karen Gee. It was a modest sleeveless white dress she had paired with her naked stiletto heels Stuart Weitzman. Harry looked just as charming in a navy blue suit and a light blue tie.

Prospective parents were offered a kangaroo stuffed animal and a small pair of Uggs. Meghan exclaimed: "It's our first baby present!"

Kensington Palace revealed that the couple were expecting their first child on Monday.

"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019," said the Palace in a statement posted on Instagram. "Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."

In addition to celebrating baby news, Meghan and Harry will spend the next two weeks traveling across Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. The tour runs from October 16 to 31.
