The pregnant queen and her husband, Prince Harry, were dazzled at the Australia Geographic Society awards ceremony in Sydney on Friday. Style critics and commentators applauded Meghan Markle's choice: a black and white number with an Oscar de la Renta tea length, avian ornaments and illusion details.

Harper's Bazaar reported that the Duchess had completed the look with an eruption, minimalist jewelry and her prominent Aquazarra black suede pumps, seeming totally fought over after having the sensation of a terrifying aircraft this morning.

On Twitter, the sophisticated look of the future mother has been described as "perfect as a princess" and "magical".

"We are not worthy of such beauty," quipped a commentator.

On this occasion, the royal couple presented prizes and Prince Harry delivered a speech on the importance of environmental conservation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to make 76 commitments during a 16-day tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
